Wheelchair with solar power

The use of alternative energy including environmentally friendly such as solar energy (solar powered) has begun to spread to all sides, including products made for people who have limited (disable).

Earlier we discussed the hearing aid that uses solar power and there is now a wheelchair with solar power.

The wheelchair itself is modified where previously this wheelchair using battery power and then by adding solar panels on top, battery charging is done directly by solar energy (not electricity).

Special pipe with solar power to melt snow on the highway

Rajib Mallick, a professor from Worcester Polytechnic Institute are developing a pipeline of anti-freeze (anti-freezing) filled with liquid in it.

Pipeline which will be planted on the highway can absorb heat and will automatically make it into hot liquid and then if there is snow then the fluid will be released to melt the existing snow.

Another plus, there is hot liquid will also be used to as a power source for electricity demand in the vicinity.

According to the professor, the project would cost about U.S. $ 12,500 for the pipe along the 50 m and plus perawatn cost about U.S. $ 1,000.

It is expensive but he would return on investment within 6 months.

Solar Road Panel: highways with solar panels in it

Bumps which could produce electrical energy may be an old story, how the highway with solar panels that also generate electricity?

U.S. Department of Transportation has approved a budget of U.S. $ 100,000 to create an instance (prototype) highway that uses solar panels, called Solar Road Panels.

This road is made of glass and solar panels that will eventually replace the concrete or asphalt.

Especially if the goal is not to produce a power source from the use of solar panels on the highway, eventually, each panel measuring 12 × 12 inch road could generate about 7.6 kilowatt hours per day.

So if the road is made with solar panels along 1 mile of 4 lane then at least electrical energy generated could generate electricity for 500 homes. Quite right?

But just count the cost involved when one panel Solar Road Panels are priced U.S. $ 7,000 for the size 12 × 12 inches.

Oh yeah, besides that, this highway will also have LED lights so that road markings and other writings will light through the Solar Road Panel.

Super PV: Solar panels that generate two times more

SuperPV are solar panels made by Rainbow Solar Inc.. with the technology certainly many coveted by all users of existing solar panels.

SuperPV solar panel is claimed to produce the output (electrical energy) to 200% compared to existing solar panels today.

Besides producing a large output, SuperPV can also produce electrical energy which is stable even though the weather a bit cloudy.

Currently no further information regarding this SuperPV, including the price, but who is not happy with the solar panels can still generate energy even though the weather is overcast again.

Veranda Solar: solar panels that use a very flexible

The use of solar energy as a source of energy is already believed to greatness but as we know, the installation of solar panels that are usually done on the roof of the house / building is still a constraint because it is difficult and expensive.

Veranda Solar offers convenience for those of you who want to use solar power but do not want to be bothered and shell out a lot.

The solar panel is shaped very small and easy to move even can put in your apartment balcony or even a window in a way you're hung like drying clothes. :-)

Just what we need to go save electricity but the problem still exists on the price because flexible solar panels will be sold at a price of around U.S. $ 400 - 600.
